It's here! We have talked about it long enough, time to get those bell bottoms and kaftans out! You are invited to come for a fun evening where we hope to cast you back to 1970's to an evening that remembers all those good things like Smash, Follyfoot, Prawn Cocktail,Catweasel.Picketywitch, Fleetwood Mac, Demis Roussos, Nana Mouskouri,Cheesy footballs, Twiglets, Cinzano, Martini, Tank tops,Platform Boots,Glam and Glitter,Black Forest Gateaux, Flambes and Space Hoppers and Choppers. Come along at 7pm for an aperetif, appetisers, (cheese and pineapple perhaps) followed by a three course classic 70's meal followed by After Eights and Coffee, Twister, 70's games and a quiz maybe plus D.I.S.C.O in a licenced bar.Limited places so book a place soon. We are pleased to spend ten days in Suffolk feeding passionate jugglers with good food down on the farm. Looks like a lovely place to spend a week. Watch this space for more details!!
Can't wait to feed all those amazing circus skills people from all over the world, they do know how to put a show on and make you feel right at home in such a beautiful setting. We loved being there last year and want it to be just as enjoyable this year.
We had a lovely afternoon making cocktails with Bournemouth People First celebrating 10 years of greatness. TWMA was so proud to be invited to take part in the first festival of Diversity for Bournemouth and enjoyed every moment. Special thanks to Shaun, Christian,Jessica and Alan for working so hard and making it a lovely day to remember.
Saw our return to our beloved Purbeck camping farm at Steeple Leaze Farm where we serve delicious breakfasts and edible goodies from our new improved cafe tent. On Saturday evening we will serve a two course meal for under £10. over a cracking fire or beside the woodburner if its raining, or under the stars. Bring your own (BYO) tipple. An acoustic open mic spot is available to all you singers musicians poets and alike. A paperback exchange and a vinyl collection is there with a portable record player to play your old favourites: Nina Simone, Billy Holliday, Stan Getz, Ella, Sweet, Queen, Mud !! Whatever you find! We know Jeremy will dig out his 80's collection if you don't get there first to stop him!!
We sometimes cook very local lamb on a spit or grill fresh fish and scallops brought freshly from the sea directly to us accompanied by a fresh salad, new potatoes and a good pudding. A vegetarian alternative dish is always freshly cooked for example a rich tagine with cous cous and salad, or spinach and feta pie with salad or a lush coconut curry with paratha chutney and salad.

Chettle Village Fete. Possibly the craziest, funniest , best fete this side of Watford Gap! With everything from the civilised plant stall to the crazy cow pat bingo and human fruit machine. Dog show, tug of war, kids 3 legged race and egg an spoon race and way more! We are not going down to the woods this afternoon but we will be serving gourmet ploughman's platters for the afternoon. We will give you a blanket and a hay bale. Savour the delights of smoked salmon, smoked chicken, duck ,game pie, smoked fish or roast beef with horseradish,home cooked ham, mature cheddar and brie, hunky crisp fresh bread and wonderful pickles and preserves. A lovely setting and great atmosphere at this lovely country fete where there is plenty to see and do for all the family.
We will be doing our best American 4th July kitchen right in the middle of Richmond Old Deer Park so if you fancy some great old fashioned American Fare at Lunchtime this is the place to be! Come down to the Quay this weekend and try our griddled scallops and prawns served with a salsa verde in a tomato and olive oil bread with a little mixed salad... We are also creating a delicious freshly cooked vegetarian bread packed with flavour, absoutely delicious to eat as you listen to the music and have a foot stomping time!
